“That is all I want in life: for this pain to seem purposeful.”
― Elizabeth Wurtzel, Prozac Nation
Mental health impacts millions of people all around the world and doesn’t discriminate. If you know someone or you are someone that suffers from some kind of mental health issue, you are in a safe place.
- Because it gives my readers who suffer from mental health issues, specifically depression, a place to let their mind rest.
- Because it will hopefully help others understand why and how mental health can impact day-to-day life.
I wear a bunch of hats. Not literally because that would draw a lot of attention. I am a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, a friend, an aunt, a fiancee, a mental health advocate, a LGBTQ+ ally, and so many other things that make me a seemingly normal milleninial. I write blogs to cope with my own mental health, good days and bad days. I also write to help others cope with their own and provide an outlet for all that stumble upon this blog. Mental health is a group effort, and I hope that my blogs help you realize you’re not alone in this ongoing battle.
If you’re here for the first time, welcome! If you’re a frequent flyer, thanks for coming back. I hope you find exactly what you need! Come just as you are and stay true to yourself while you’re here. 🙂
